Copying content between versions
When creating new content, you'll want to make a copy from one language version to another. This way you don't have to recreate the entire page or article. You just replace the content with the correct translations.
Linking records between versions
By linking the language versions, the users gain the advantage of staying on the same page while switching language versions. The link is also added to the metadata for search engines to know that it is the same content, just in different languages. Don't force the user to search for a page of your site they've already clicked on once after switching languages.
